01
Context
QDOBA’s existing webpages, including their Location, Intent and Directory pages were outdated and misaligned with their new brand guidelines. Their goals for the redesign included but were not limited to the following:
Optimize content and placement for SEO
Localize information where possible (e.g., new local promos section, team member section, etc.)
Add images to teaser cards
Style Guide
Created a style guide that aligned with QDOBA’s new brand guidelines and home page as the main SOTs, including color styles, grid & spacing, fonts, text styles, button styles, link styles, teaser cards and icons.
02
Design Mockups
Created high fidelity, interactive pages in a quick two week sprint, with the client goals in mind. Offered the client a few design options for various sections such as the intent navigation, hero section, and menu section.
03
Intent navigation functions as a dropdown on both desktop and mobile
Breadcrumbs placement & styling
Notification banner placement
Intent navigation bar is full width on desktop in a toggle format and still a dropdown on mobile
“View More” CTA to expand the section, displaying 4 more items until it reaches 12 total
Localized content for SEO
Carousel to reveal the next 4 items
WCAG Recommendations
Included a WCAG 2.2 Compliance Guide (Level AA) as a separate deliverable for the client that outlined various WCAG issues seen in the new branding styles, along with our recommended solutions to meet WCAG AA standards.
04
Client Feedback // Final Designs
Received two rounds of feedback to address any client requests. Worked with the assigned Project Manager to iron out any final outstanding questions and delivered the final designs after a thorough design review.
